A smarter way to grow fundraising

Hiring in-house can stretch your budget. Hiring a consultant can leave you with a plan that never gets implemented. Fractional fundraising gives you both: experienced strategy and hands-on execution, so your nonprofit can build fundraising momentum without adding another full-time salary.

Fractional Fundraiser FAQs

Small organizations often have limited budgets for staffing, leading them to hire junior personnel who lack fundraising strategy and experience. These individuals typically spend a lot of time and energy on tasks that don’t drive progress. Instead, you can allocate that budget to hire a fractional fundraiser with over 20 years of experience and a passion for implementation. Our clients appreciate this strategic solution for growth.

An added benefit is that a fractional fundraiser requires minimal supervision, reducing stress for the executive director. Bonus!

Engaging with us as a fractional fundraiser involves an investment of $4,000 to $5,000 per month. Our contracts start at a minimum of 12 months, ensuring you receive sustained and consistent fundraising support.

This cost structure covers a comprehensive range of services, from strategic planning to hands-on implementation, all provided by a seasoned professional with over a two decades of experience.

This long-term commitment not only provides stability and consistency but also allows for the development and execution of a robust fundraising strategy that aligns with your organization’s goals. With us, you can expect expert guidance and a dedicated approach without the financial burden of full-time employment overheads.

Every organization is unique, and your fundraising strategy should reflect that uniqueness. We’re versatile professionals who can handle all aspects of fundraising, from individual giving and major gifts to grant writing and sponsorships. The only exception is large events, which we do not manage. (But we can help you find someone who can and help with the strategy.)

We begin each engagement with a strategic planning process to develop a tailored fundraising plan, complete with clear goals and activities designed to advance your fundraising efforts. Once the plan is in place, we dive into implementation.

Our implementation services cover a wide range of activities, including writing appeals, managing your donor database, collaborating with your program team to write and submit grants, building and nurturing donor relationships, managing sponsorships, and handling social media. We work with you to prioritize these activities and then execute them efficiently. We even take care of tasks like stuffing envelopes when needed.

When you work with us, you get a dedicated partner who ensures your fundraising strategy is effective and aligned with your organization’s goals.

If a fundraiser or fundraising consultant guarantees results, it’s a red flag indicating potential unethical practices. Fundraising success depends on numerous variables and can’t be assured.

Achieving meaningful results requires time, consistency, and a tailored approach. The outcomes depend on your starting point, existing relationships, and fundraising priorities. Trust professionals who set realistic expectations and commit to your long-term success, not those who make unrealistic promises.

Here’s a novel approach – we don’t track hours! That’s right – we focus on deliverables and outcomes. As fractional fundraisers, we are experienced and efficient and take on only the amount of clients they can handle as well as how much they want to work. (Shocker – not everyone wants to work 60 hours/week – LOL). Our clients are delighted at the level of support they receive.
